Canva is a versatile design tool that has been widely adopted by individuals and businesses for various use cases. Users have found Canva helpful in creating social media graphics, resumes, infographics, eBooks, and more. The platform offers limitless built-in templates and media options, making it easy for users to create cohesive and professional external marketing materials.

One of the key use cases of Canva is its ability to help businesses solidify their brand and expand their outreach. Sole proprietors and small businesses use Canva to create images for social media posts, e-mail headers, e-book designs, and PowerPoint slides. It is also used across different departments, including sales, executive offices, and marketing teams, to create content for announcements, event invitations, and community engagement opportunities.

Canva enables businesses to create high-quality designs without outsourcing, reducing costs for lean marketing teams. It is recommended to clients who don't have in-house graphic design capabilities. For example, restaurants use Canva to design menus, event posters, and print marketing materials. Businesses also rely on Canva to create marketing materials such as business Instagram and Facebook posts, logos, banners, and business cards.

Another prominent use case of Canva is in the creation of visual content for ministries and book projects. It allows users to present and promote their content in fun, vibrant, and high-quality visual formats. Canva is used to design blog banners, Amazon A+ banners, web banners, and social media images for book projects.

In addition to these use cases, Canva finds its application in designing ad mockups, graphs, infographics, handouts, flyers, social media visuals, email banners, and more. Its drag-and-drop editor along with various graphics options makes it easy for non-designers within an organization to create innovative presentations or promotional materials.

Overall, Canva's wide range of features and user-friendly interface make it a valuable tool for individuals and businesses alike, helping them create professional-looking designs without the need for extensive design skills or outsourcing.

Users commonly recommend upgrading to the pro option of Canva for social media managers and teams looking to ensure consistent branding across the Internet. Canva Pro is considered a cost-effective alternative to Adobe products, especially for smaller businesses with a lower budget. It is also suggested to try Canva for free to create custom designs and stay on brand. Canva is seen as an ideal tool for basic design work, logo creation, and creating social media graphics and web designs. Users suggest utilizing Canva to quickly generate images for digital campaigns and regain control over branding. Canva is recommended as the ultimate solution for companies without a graphic design department or individuals who want to create images quickly without relying on Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. For teams and companies that are not design-heavy, Canva Pro is recognized as an inexpensive and user-friendly option. Canva for Work is suggested for centralizing brand guidelines and creating social media posts or graphics. Users recommend accessing the tutorials provided by Canva for learning how to effectively use the platform and advise checking the license agreement for $1.00 stock photos before usage. While Canva cannot replace more advanced design software like Photoshop, it is still considered a valuable tool for those with basic graphic design skills. Lastly, users recommend ensuring that the team knows the appropriate colors and fonts to use and uploading logos in PNG format for easy integration.

We use Canva for social media content creation. Canva is easy to use in the creation of social media graphics custom-designed for the content that we share on our social media platforms. Canva makes creating and designing so much easier than using Adobe.
  • Template Variety
  • Functionality is Easy to Use
  • Professional Designs
  • Offers Variety of Tools
  • Search Term Functionality
  • Photo Searches More Accurate
  • More Elements/Shapes To Use
Canva has become so versatile that you can use it for virtually anything related to graphic design. It allows you to get creative in customizing your content yet also provides thousands of eye-catching templates to work off of and get ideas from. I haven't yet found a time where Canva wasn't suited for something I was specifically trying to do.

in our organization as a graphic designer we use Canva it help us in designing social media post, presentations, banners without the help of design experts. Canva makes design easy and can work on projects with multiple team at same time, it save really lot of time, money and energy. This helps in maintaining brand language for the particular project.
  • It Removes Background in one click
  • Is easily convert the project ratio as per the requirement
  • Multiple Templated under one roof
  • Layer Placement
  • Masking tool
  • Offline Editing is Not available
  • Monthly subscription fee is high
The well suited scenario is there is numerous amount of predefined templates from which you can edit and design in very less time and saves a lot of time as a designer.
The less appropriate scenario is we cannot drag and drop the images and asset from photoshop or any adobe suite software to Canva

I am a customer marketing manager for a B2B SaaS business. While we have an in-house graphics team, it's great to be able to work with their assets in a tool that doesn't require a graphic design background. CANVA IS THAT TOOL. Marketing, customer success, and customer education teams all use Canva here - across dozens of use cases. There isn't a single use case we haven't been able to use Canva for.
  • Marketing materials
  • Training GIFs
  • Logos and branding
  • I would like to be able to apply multiple effects to an image - background remover AND something else
- Easy to collaborate with other team members on a design
- Easy to change dimensions/size of a project
- SO many templates, graphics, effects to use
- GIF creator!
- Default sizes for email banners, social cards, and other most-used projects

I am the main user of Canva in my department, however, I oversee other people that use Canva as well. Canva is only used within the marketing division. Canva allows me to quickly and easily create social media graphics, basic video clips, posters, flyers, and so much more - all without having to open PhotoShop, InDesign, or Illustrator. It also allows me to quickly and easily share designs with others and collaborate on projects.
  • Collaboration - it's easy to share your design with your team members
  • Design library - Canva has a ton of great stock photos, icons, videos, fonts, and patterns all pre-loaded and ready for you to use. Their search function works well to find these materials.
  • Templates - The sky is the limit when it comes to creativity and what you're able to build within Canva, but you don't have to be a graphic designer to use the software. You can easily create slideshows, presentations, flyers, etc - with their templates.
  • Brand kit - upload your logos, colors, fonts, etc so all of your designs are on brand.
  • Sharing and downloading - you can post directly to your social media accounts from Canva or download your materials in a variety of file types
  • The search function for photos needs to be expanded. It would be great to click the "view more like this" button and have it filtered to photos that look exactly like that one. Currently, it'll only take you to more photos by that same photographer, which is the most helpful.
  • Being able to resize elements like shapes would be great. Sometimes I need a specific sized rectangle and it's really hard to find one that's already built.
  • Sometimes things don't completely line up, even if I use the "align" tools.
  • Additional text editing options - adding superscript, additional bullet points, etc
I'll always recommend Canva to basically anyone that needs design software, but doesn't have the time, skillset, or budget for actual design software like the Adobe Suite. The most basic account is free and provides so many options for building content. I can't think of another free software that gives you so much room to grow, build, and design. Canva is appropriate for teams of all sizes. As a graphic designer, I thought I'd prefer to continue creating our social media content in PhotoShop, but Canva is much easier and quicker. Plus, I can copy and resize content so everything is guaranteed to fit the social platform that I'm designing for. In PhotoShop, I'd need to know that information off the top of my head.

We use Canva daily to hone in our brand and present our company in marketing and beyond as professional and polished.
  • Easy to use
  • Fully customizable
  • Make professional looking design work for non-professionals
  • More photo filters would be nice
  • The ability to easily recolour photos
I can't think of a scenario where Canva is not suited. It's good for everyone!

Canva makes it easy to create beautiful, eye-catching yet simple graphics. It easy to convert graphics into a different size format with all the most common size format already available. It is copy and paste.
  • Extensive library of pre-set templates and formats.
  • Drag and drop for ease.
  • Variety of styles, fonts, drawing, shapes, and icons.
  • Simple to use.
  • Limited color to play with for text and background.
  • Can be buggy at times and slow to respond.
  • Could benefit from more templates.
Useful for creating graphics for social media banners (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram), Facebook Ads, YouTube video thumbnails and marketing collateral.

Canva obviously helps me to be heard and seen via the Internet and social media especially. I can generate new content in several steps and don't lose the moment when it is better to post.
  • It helps me to prepare content for social media
  • Change the format of the pictures and download them
  • Create guidelines for my work
  • Pricing model
  • More free templates and fonts
It's a handy platform that fulfills all my needs and even more. I can do regular tasks with the help of it much more quickly, and something extraordinary is also easier to create using Canva tools and features.

Was looking for a way to easily create social media posts for LinkedIn. In my experience Canva is impressive for creating graphics, but was unable to post them to a company page, or any other page, on LinkedIn. In my experience I tried to work with support, but they just told me that it worked for them and to use incognito mode, that was the full extent of their support. Not impressed at all.

Our company uses Canva to address a few key business problems related to content creation. Firstly, Canva provides an accessible and user-friendly platform for our team members who may not have formal design training, allowing them to create visually appealing content quickly and efficiently. Secondly, Canva helps us ensure brand consistency across all our designs by providing access to a library of templates and elements, such as logos and brand colors, that can be easily customized to meet our specific needs. Lastly, Canva allows us to collaborate with team members and stakeholders on design projects in real-time, making it easier to make changes and get feedback. The scope of our use case for Canva is quite broad and encompasses a range of marketing and design projects, from creating social media posts and email marketing campaigns to developing presentations and infographics.
  • prensentation
  • social media posts
  • layer management: Currently, the layer management system in Canva can be confusing for some users, especially for complex designs. Improving the layer management system, for example, by adding the ability to easily hide and show layers, could make the design process smoother for users.
  • typography options: Canva has a good selection of font options, but some users would like to see more advanced typography options, such as kerning, tracking, and baseline shift, which would allow them to achieve more professional-looking designs.
  • More customizable templates: While Canva has a large library of templates, some users would like to see more customization options, such as the ability to create custom templates or save custom elements to reuse in future designs.
Canva is an excellent choice for creating social media graphics. Its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface and a huge selection of templates make it a breeze to create eye-catching posts for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Whether you're a marketing professional or just starting out, Canva has everything you need to create social media graphics that will get noticed. Canva is also great for presentation With its ability to create slides and add graphics, charts, and infographics, you can create professional-looking presentations with ease. And, with its intuitive design tools, you don't need any design experience to get started. Whether you're creating a presentation for work or school, Canva has got you covered. While Canva is a great tool for creating simple designs and marketing materials, it may not be the best choice for more advanced graphic design projects. If you're a professional designer or need more advanced design tools, software like Illustrator or Photoshop might be a better fit for your needs.

As the event organizer for one of our locations I used it regularly to help create graphics for social media, event collateral, websites, etc. The ability to create basically anything I need at any time was hugely freeing and really helped me get my work done.
  • Logo creation
  • Social Media images
  • Flyers
  • Honestly I have no complaints!
Canva is hugely helpful if you are promoting and planning events. You can use it to create images to be used on websites, to create logos for events, to create a variety of images for social media (cover image, event post image, etc). I used it frequently to create images that I used on internal donation pages we created where our internal graphics team couldn't help me - but Canva could!

I am using Canva in my company for 2 years. I am using this software to create social media posts, marketing templates, stories, presentations, short videos and so on. This is a great platform for people who want to create marketing materials but don't have technical or designing knowledge. This software provides an easy to use interface & a lot of pre-made templates for different purposes. Even a new person can easily create designs using this software. Its team collaboration feature reduces my burden of work and I can collaborate with my team by sharing my work with the team.

Overall, it is a great software for beginners as well as experienced designer to create unique designs.
  • Pre-made templates help you to save your precious time.
  • Team collaboration feature helps you to share designs & work together.
  • It provides wide-range of design for different social platforms or different purposes.
  • Your designs always remain safe in its cloud storage.
  • It is best tool for people who are in Digital Marketing and need some useful resources or just starting their career.
  • It is the best software for students to work on their assignments or other work as it provides free subscription to students.
  • If you belong to different field than designing but even want to create designs, its easy to use interface give easy access to you without prior knowledge & experience.
Best Scenario - When I started my company and had no team members to work on creating attractive designs for social profiles and even I did not have technical knowledge to do the same, Canva helped me a lot. I started to use Canva and found it useful for non-designers. From then, I never looked back to other software and regularly using it.

Worst Scenario - Could not find drawbacks.

Ours is an organization that helps and guides engineers and even emerging engineers find and pursue their dream. Our company gives out funding and even conducts training programs for students in every level (Novice to experts). This means that we continously require content and Canva is extremely useful when it comes to delivering a message or information the way you want it to sound. It has always helped when I get stuck in the same design again and again. It provides with a wide variety of templates and graphics to choose from without you feeling exhausted by the overwhelming number of content. And that's the best part as it also helps in Time management when it comes to design.
  • It helps you find the right design and helps you start with the right template
  • It helps in creating for all platforms, basically you need to create the design only once and Canva takes care of the rest by resizing the design for whichever platform you want to publish it to.
  • It also comes with a content planner which is extremely helpful for obvious reasons. It relieves you from the hassle of posting when the right time hits.
  • There's a Brand feature which is also extremely fascinating as it helps you store all your brand information (even color) at the same place.
  • Even though the content planner is good, it still could be more user friendly. I bet you'll struggle you way around when you use it for the first time.
  • The mobile app of Canva hogs up resources and does not work properly on a low end Device. It also lacks some features hence the desktop app is recommended for large scale uses.
  • Canva has an overwhelming number of graphics and templates, and most of it are insanely similar to each other. This overuse of design sometimes causes ambiguity in deciding on the best choice for the design.
I would say that Canva is best suited for beginner and Novice level applications. If you're an experienced designer, there's definitely no point in using Canva as it's developed for designers entering the field. OR, if you want to experience that flexibility while you designing and let the creativity flow, You shouldn't consider Canva as your Choice. If you feel like delivering quick and not spend your time on deciding on 'How to Design', then you should go for Canva.

This product is incredibly easy to use and requires very little creativity while also allowing for creativity if present. This program makes creating ads, videos, gifs, infographics, announcements, graphics, and presentations so quick and simple. This program increases your ability to output professional looking communication in a timely manner with or without consultation from other users or your team. The learning time is small and users can start creating nearly immediately with little to no training.

The program is priced extremely well and is accessible to nearly everyone from corporations to small businesses. Additionally, the company is always implementing new features and fixing any small issues or needs of consumers. Canva is always looking to the future and to more integrations with existing software or platforms.

I was especially impressed by their stock video selections and images. These do NOT cost extra like Adobe products but are perfectly acceptable for many applications though Adobe's stock video is often higher production quality. However, Canva's offering are still quite impressive for a presentation, other internal use or a smaller business. Personally, I love Canva and reccomend it to everyone to up their professional output.

  • Social media posts
  • Form creation
  • Presentations
  • Infographics
  • Some physical placement tools are hard to use.
  • Direct to print options are non-existent
  • Sometimes "search" acts a little funny
Canva is great for a presentation or to help you design a landing page and for social media posts. Canva may not be appropriate to design a logo or other material you need to be completely legally sound. Canva is not a graphic maker, it is a layout service/product. If you want to design logos or graphics from scratch, this is not the program for you or your company.

Canva is a handy tool that I use to create flyers, post images, and even PowerPoint presentations. For me, Canva is super easy to use: it has free templates, and they’re all ready-made with pre-made designs so I don’t have to be a graphic artist to use it. Most of Canva’s templates are free and customizable as well. So, if I want to add some more flair or background colors to make it more personal, then I can do that too. People really noticed the change the moment I started using Canva. Canva has allowed me to do an incredible job.
  • Creating professional presentations
  • Creating animated GIFs
  • Creating logos
  • Unlimited number of free templates
  • Ready-made templates for advertising for your school, centre, or institution
  • Customer Support is poor
  • Mobile App is difficult to use
  • Background Remover needs more tools
  • They need to include 3D section to design logos or elements inside photos
According to my experience, Canva is a fantastic tool that makes it easy for me to design flyers, posts, and presentations for my University. I've used Canva to save time because of its free templates that are ready-made and ready to use by content creators like me. The interface is easy to use, with a drag-and-drop tool that lets me customize everything from text fonts to composition within seconds.

The mobile app is very clunky and has tended to misformat my designs when moving from device to device. I would expect Canva to have a more robust set of tutorial videos or animated images that are readily available on their website and mobile app. I also want to see Canva seek out other social media types and integrate those into its business model. They should begin to look at how they can use social media as a product they sell or sell one off to people who want it rather than simply provide this service through their website.

Canva is an excellent online graphic design tool for those who don't have any experience with graphic design. You can design anything like invoices, flyers, invitation cards, and resumes also. Canva has a very wide range of templates that helps a lot if you are not knowledgeable about designing. Both web and mobile apps are working well.
  • Design multi-page documents
  • 8000+ templates in free version
  • Drag and Drop Editor
  • Canva’s learning curve is designed to be very gentle
  • Ease of use
  • Not good for photo editing
  • Inserting a table is not that easy
  • Output formats are limited
  • When you select a template of a particular size, let's say 16:9, you cannot resize this later after you start working on it
In our company, we have an activity every Saturday, and for that, we have to design flyers, vouchers, invitation cards, and greeting cards. For that, we don't have any graphic designers. • Creating designs for social media.
  • More free vectors.
  • Diversity of free templates.
  • The quality of uploaded images.
Suitable: SchoolUniversityMasterEntry and mid-JobsIn these scenarios the ease of creating designs, presentations, infographics, and the variety of resources it provides make it ideal for working with large teams, it should be noted that it includes a wide variety of fonts, as well as colors. Nonsuitable: Due to the lack of some vectors in the free versions, cant be used in more formal scenarios.

Canva has been helping us to do this task with basic knowledge of graphic designing. It doesn't require any high configured computer or any heavy software to run. So, it can be managed easily from any computer & anywhere since the account is automatically synced in the cloud.
  • Easy Designing
  • Lots of customizable templates
  • Rich resources
  • Implementation with external tools & software
  • Social media collaboration
  • Cross platform syncing & usability
  • Light weight website.
  • Support mobile platform editing through app.
  • Stability over weak network
  • More features should be added.
  • Video editor needs more development
  • need to enrich audio resources.
Canva is a basic graphics designing tool that is completely cloud-based software. Therefore. it doesn't require any extra storage capacity or performance in the operating device. Therefore, it is suitable for startups business, students, or any individual to perform basic graphical work. It is not suitable for advanced & professional graphic design.

The primary way I use Canva for business is to create engaging content for my social media sites and my marketing clients. I am able to organize my own graphic and use the ones that have an affordable cost. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, well as other design needs. It helps me in that is has many uses such as video creations and forms. I use it for personal projects and for clients.
  • user-friendly tool
  • create great content even if you aren’t a professional designer
  • Template for everything under the sun
  • Text, graphics, and photo options for no additional charge
  • The site is down quite a bit and crashes at times
  • customer support is not great
  • mobile app is difficult to use
  • Organization of creations and files downloaded
I found Canva by accident and learned how to use it early on in its development so worked through the hiccup stage. I see that Canva is constantly improving the platform and I like that. I have had issues where I needed support and it took quite a while to get help with a project deadline haunting me. I find that using Canva for admin stuff such as invoices isn't very effective. We currently use it to assist in the dissemination of all communications we send to employees. It is a very easy-to-use and intuitive tool, in addition to having numerous features. Equipped with several resources, it allows us to make the most important communications and all informative folders. It is certainly one of the most versatile tools we use.
  • Content diversity
  • Ease of use of resources
  • Intuitive tool
  • Good user interface
  • Largest number of free designer creation
  • Export the file in PDF format
  • Difficulty overlapping themes of different sizes
The Canva tool is suitable for creating different designs (newsletters, examples of best practices, results, statements), creating collaborator boards, creating personalized invitations and cards, and is an excellent tool to help with personal creativity. If you are going to use the tool to create something with your own image, you may find it difficult to edit the image as this part of the Canva tool is slightly limited in its free version.

I currently use Canva to create graphics for my organization for events, social media, and our annual ad booklet. We had problems with low-quality graphics being made and Canva offers very easy templates that we can use. It is fast and visually appealing. Also, you can share directly to social media from Canva through the publisher and it makes everything easier.
  • Templates of designs
  • Color palette picker
  • Upload to social media right away or schedule
  • Elements could be better
  • The background remover doesn't work too well.
  • Positioning elements is difficult and glitchy sometimes.
Canva is suited for small organizations working or needing social media graphics quickly. It can be used to grow your base and put out information about events in a clean and simple way with templates. It is less appropriate for large-scale organizations that need complex graphics. When you download it, it can be blurry a little bit and the elements are not as expansive as you would like.

We are using Canva for a variety of purposes—social media stories, social media posts, to design fact sheets, reports, and other functions. What I love about Canva is that it gives those of us without design skills templates and a canvas to work with, and therefore levels the playing field. It also allows us to streamline workflow and reserve our designer's time for bigger projects. It's improved our social media presence and created more consistency and brand alignment in all our materials.
  • Designs that meet specs (Instagram image, social banner photos, etc.).
  • Brand consistency: Especially since we saved our colors etc. within the software.
  • Making designers out of those without traditional design skills.
  • It's hard to find images, etc. to use without a Pro account—you can't sort by the free images. We ended up purchasing the Pro account because we needed access to additional features.
  • The designs are basic. It still helps to have a creative eye so that you can differentiate your products.
  • Sharing designs among team members is slightly cumbersome, but once you figure it out, works well.
We use Canva in multiple aspects of our communications work and its become an invaluable tool for us to use. We share designs among team members and collaborate on projects within the software. Downloading our projects for use on social media, as a PDF, or in whatever format needed is easy in the software. I use Canva for marketing materials I recently had 4x6 post cards printed and they did not complete the printing on the back. I have emailed and submitted a complaint four times using their online form for a refund and I have had NO response. So I’m stuck with a bad product and no refund. From my experience, this is poor customer support!
  • Ease of creating product
  • Customer support.
  • Add a phone number for customer support
  • Respond promptly to printing issues
In my opinion, they have bad customer support. I have received No response after sending them FOUR complaints about an error on the printing of post cards that I ordered.

I love using Canva for all design work. It's so user friendly - all the stock images, templates and features are fantastic value for money. I might be one of the biggest Canva fans on the planet!! Since I started using it, the new features that have been added are great. They stay on top of their market needs.
  • Great selection of templates for any type of design
  • Stock Image library on the pro version is fantastic value for money
  • I love the animations and effects you can use on text and images for presentations
  • Music library is also great for video!
  • I have never needed to contact support myself, but have heard they can improve on that
  • Honestly, I can't find anything which I feel they need to improve
Canva is well suited for someone who is not a qualified graphic designer, with a designer's eye and creative strength in visual communication. It is much cheaper than Adobe, Coral Draw, etc. A great alternative for someone who wants professional looking designs on their social media, etc.
