Cisco SD-WAN vEdge Routers
Actually, I use vEdge Routers as proof of concept for customers. They need technology that automatically has high availability in terms of WAN links and I saw that vEdge has this kind of technology to fulfill customers' requirements.
- 3G/4G connectivity that can be used as a backup link.
- Simple deployment and configuration.
- Easy to manage using Web GUI.
- Need to be familiarized with the configuration.
- Need more time to be hands on with the GUI.
- 3G/4G connectivity.
- Security features.
- Simple configuration via Web GUI.
- It reduces the cost of MPLS.
- Although it has advanced technology, it is cheaper than the traditional router.
- Easy to manage with only 1 person.
