(1-25 of 164)Webex Calling Review
- The calling features and also that it's web-based and that people and their devices don't have to be connected to the company network for it to function. They can run it right off their home network. So when they're working remote, we don't have to provide a VPN endpoint to connect the product back to the server.
- Some of the features that on-prem had that have not yet been implemented in the Cisco WebEx product, like when you're in contact center, there is no bidirectional communication yet. So if you put a call on hold on a physical phone or on your soft phone, it doesn't talk back to the contact center portion. So the bidirectional communication would be useful and we're still getting used to the differences in how reporting is done and call detail reports. The on-prem has been around for so long that you're just used to going in there and just running CDR reports and that with Cisco WebEx a little bit, it's a learning curve that you have to get used to and that you have to have the report generated and wait for it to become available. And sometimes it can take longer because put in the queue and it runs when it has a chance.
Webex Calling
- Eliminate need for hardware refreshes and software updates.
- Feature Parity with on-prem solutions.
- Analytics included.
- Many former UCCX customers can utilize reporting in Webex Calling for visibility that previously drove them to UCCX.
- Management of ECBNs can be tedious.
- Moving a phone between locations requires total reconfiguration.
- Default for End Users is to automatically send Welcome Email which can inadvertently notify users before configuration is completed.
Webex Calling review
- Using true and tested equipment
- Integration with equipment
- Integrate with room sensor
Webex Calling review
- Easy install
- Fast connections
- Easy troubleshooting
- More feature parity with UC applications
This App is all about security!
- Real time translation to multiple languages
- Whiteboards are unlimited which is great
- Up to 1000 attendees can join the meetings
- I think that there are less emojis, there could be more since other free providers also provide the same
- International calling is a bit more expensive, could be taken down a bit
- Virtual backgrounds aren't that much appealing as well, there is room for improvement there
Webex Calling review!
- Easy to manage
- No need to have on-prem infrastructure
- Scalable
- Log with different account on the same app, maybe account of different tenants
- Calling panel has to be modernized
- Add button to do call things, instead to use the 3 dots
Webex Calling
- Provide virtual lines
- Call queue advanced features
- Call analytics
- You should include CxEssential feature in Webex Calling license without extra cost
- Directory segmentation by location
- Refine the management of access right in the control hub
Webex Calling Review
- For example, with WebEx calling, it's an offer which include many features of each on-prem server and every features are included in WebEx calling. So that's something which is very appreciated by customer because they don't have to buy each server like it was the case. They just buy WebEx calling and they have many features. Even if they don't need it, they have it and we can give them the notice to use them and they can use it and they are very happy with this software.
- No. Even if there is something, maybe it's missing. I know I follow many events of Cisco, they are including the roadmap, so that's nice. For the moment the customer are very happy. I don't have some bad features and some features missing for the moment. That's nice.
Webex is the way to go!

- Single pane of glass management
- Easier to transfer to mobile device

Webex Calling Review
The problems that it addresses is that CUCM is going away and we are looking to upgrade to a newer phone system. We utilize Webex Calling for our call centers and all internal calls.
- Easy to Manage
- Can make hunt groups easily
- Makes troubleshooting easy
- Easy to integrate with Azure AD
- TAC support
- Reporting could be better
- Make managing user in bulk easier
Small branches utilize Webex Calling easily due to being able to connect to a local gateway or SIP cube. We can also utilize local gateways to force some calls through Webex Calling and some calls through CUCM during the migration window.

Webex Calling - Best platform for meetings and calls
In addition, we use Webex Calling for any quick touchpoints with individual teammates. Webex Calling has been a comprehensive tool that we use across Enterprise for any meetings and we use Vide calling extensively to interact to simulate face to face meeting.
- Video calling with teammates
- Direct call with individuals
- Large group calls
- We can't see Webex chats when we make direct call to a person using Webex Calling
- In our Org. we can just see messages for past 7 days , wish this was longer
We are unable to break sessions, wish we have capability to generate multiple meeting links (for same user)
Webex Calling: Best Calling Solution!
- Calls
- Voicemail
- User friendly
- Cost
- Do not disturb feature
- Doesnt support all countries
Secured and robust
We have to rely on different applications for day to day communication purpose like calling , sharing , instant messaging and video calls etc. But Webex has this by default and in addition to it , it also offers finest features like VoIP calling and sending automated messages to people who are trying to reach when we are unavailable at work place . Transcripts of meetings are provided by all such applications , but the accuracy in which it transcripts audio is something good .
- transcripts Can send voice mail to email
- automated response
- Calling
- Conferencing
- VoIP calling
- Can send Voicemail to SMS
- video calls
- Audio calls
- screen sharing
- Phone calls
- Participants limit should be increased in trial version
- pricing should be decreased
Enterprise features combines with End to End Encryption
- Simple and Easy to use
- Easy to maintain - cloud based
- Control hub can be used for managing Webex Calling, meeting and messaging as well as on-premise calling (CUCM) - Microsoft lacks this
- Cisco Webex App still need to work on integrations, Slack is the leader in terms of integrating with other applications.
- a bit costlier when compared to MS. MS E5 has it for free
- Availability in some countries like Russia still not there
Best cloud Calling Solution
- Reporting
- Easy administration
- Great for Remote Work
- Support for 3rd party video devices
- integrations with more call recording partners
- Survivavility on the same LGW
I do not have an scenario to say that I do not recommend it.
My Webex Calling Journey
The important part is the capability to integrated with a Contact Center Solution.
- Easy for provisioning
- Great Help Center
- Friendly management interface
- Authorization Code for Inter Location Calls
- Capacity to add or modified the Global Calling Plan
- More debugs (Low Level) option for Cloud parts communication.
Cisco Webex Calling review
- Easily deploy users
- Management of devices
- availability of the platform
- complex call routing
- 3rd party devices
- Line display and notifications
The best calling solution you can find
- Team Meetings
- Meeting recording feature
- Transcript Generation
- The iOS version of Webex has a lot to improve
- The UI can be made smoother
- It requires a stable bandwidth to ensure a proper call and hence consumes a lot of data
- The image and video is very well
- The sound always works
- It is user friendly
- There should be an "On a call" status for when we join a webinar. If we join a webinar our status is still green "Available" and not busy "on a call"
The only thing I would change is there's no status for when we join a webinar. We still appear as available and not on a meeting.
Video Conferencing at its best!
Webex provides that for us.
With Webex, we are able to host internal team and individual meetings, presentations and discussions.
We also use Webex for interactions with our clients and potentially customers through webinars which is great.
- Ability to record meetings for future purposes
- Background noise cancellation support
- Screen sharing and interactive whiteboard
- HD videos quality
- Call transfer ammd voicemail support
- Better support for low internet connectivity. Webex request a really strong internet connection to work efficiently, this is not possible in a lot of locations.
- I do not have any other issues with the application.
I personally use Webex for recording short tutorials, 1:1 meetings with my supervisor, sharing information with colleagues, file sharing and constant communication with
other team members.
Webex may not be appropriate if you have unstable connection. It causes lags in video calls, messages may take a while to be delivered, Audi during voice calls lag, it can be frustrating.
Can't keep up with other products
- It usually works fine
- Virtual backgrounds available
- Support for features like virtual backgrounds on less advanced systems that are still being used in offices
- UI could be better and more performative
- Can't keep up with other applications in the field
- File sharing is fully supported, along with availability of content sharing extensions.
- You can also record your calls for record and future referencing.
- Support for HD video, and audio can be sourced from your phone or computer.
- Glitches with audio have been experienced for non-Webex users when connecting to audio.
- Cost is higher in comparison to Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Hard to get working on some corporate devices.
