SAP Fieldglass is basically used for managing the external workforce and service procurement. We have many non payroll workers working with us. We are using Fieldglass to streamline the process of managing them, assign them to new tasks and manage the service entry sheets for them. Also we are using SAP Fieldglass for automated management of services procured.

SAP Fieldglass is a awesome product
SAP Fieldglass in my organization is primarily used to manage the external workforce like contingent labor and SOW projects. The only issue which we face is in delay of the sync of the information to downstream systems.
It is also used to provide reporting to gain insight into workforce spend and utilization of the same

We use it as a client portal for checking new positions or updates about any position like interviews or job offers or any other relevant updates, also for the onboarding checks and timesheets purpose, although there is a separate team for this

Great Workforce management tool
It is a really efficient system for managing out recruitment cycle and we are Using a VMS (Vendor Management System) to centralize applicant tracking and job management can definitely streamline processes and keep everything organized. SAP Fieldglass is amazing for real-time communication and notifications adds another layer of efficiency and the effectiveness is very real, ensuring that everyone involved stays informed and up-to-date. Refining these processes over time can lead to even greater effectiveness in managing our recruitment operations and it is very user friendly.

Gets the job done fast!
We use SAP Fieldglass for contractor timewriting and cost center allocations.
- Time approvals for contractors
- Exception time
- Routing approvals
- It was hard to locate where to change the cost center for contractors to split their time to two different projects.
- Warn if I missed approving a timesheet in the past which is not in the range of the timeframe filter.

Total Visibility!
I am a user that is in the tool every single day. We currently use Fieldglass to manage our contingent workforce of over 18,000 employees. One big issue we face is pricing/rate visibility and Fieldglass allows total transparency between our suppliers to know we are getting the market value while also displaying market trends. On top of this, SAP is always ahead of the game with KPIs and investing in the new and improved technology which we then reap the benefits of in our system after big releases and software updates.

Contractor Tool
Hire external consultant and monitor contract for external consultants. Fieldglass also allow us to connect with our approved partners and promote job posting through partners. It tracks all candidates and salary position. It also has approval for job posting along with interview scheduling. Candidates can be screened and interview can be setup using Fieldglass

Contract Management
I use SAP Fieldglass to approve contractor's timesheet. It is also used for hiring contractors and also renew their contract. It is integrated with SAP Finance and Budget module
- It is simplifies contractor's hiring process.

We use Fieldglass for contractors. In my personal experience i think the standard reporting for timebooking can be improved. Also, for job opportunities - the user experience to communicate to multiple vendors can be improved. it's a great platform overall.

Fieldglass SAP keeps our travel assignment shifts easily assessable and when there is an issue easy to dispute, the software is easy to use. It helps to facilitate the billing for two parties in a third party system. It has everything we need in one spot. It’s super fast and laid out the way we would want it to be.
