Tungsten Power PDF Advanced.

- In the PDF editor, it would be ideal to select your intended target areas a bit more easily.
- When in PDF editor, font usage can be more consistent.
- When converting files from PDF, more consistent output is better.
Tungsten Power PDF: A Great PDF Tool

- Saving as pdf
- Redacting pdfs

- putting security features on pdfs
- layout of ribbon could be more user friendly

Kofax hands down winner over other paid PDF programs!
- The power PDF printer option allows adding a new document to an existing PDF file.
- Opens some secure documents that Adobe isn't able to do.
- Managing newly scanned documents efficiently from the physical scan hardware.
- Editing text is well done, not that Adobe is bad, but I like how Kofax manages the process better than.
- Flattening a file is simple.
- Security features are easy to find and manage.
- Highlighting seems to always use a dialogue box in conjunction, and that is not needed in every case. Therefore, I feel the option clutters the highlights more than it should.
- Converting text to "readable" from a .jpg or some other format is a bit more complicated than Adobe's method.
PDF nightmares? Power PDF can solve them.
- Editing Text and Image
- Adding images
- Bookmarks management
- Scanner integration
- Pages Handling
- Convert menu and its help are not easy to understand. Trial and error is the workaround.
- Crop, a pretty simple feature, has a non-intuitive way to perform the crop action. It is not easy to figure out when a crop size applies or not to other pages.
- Typewriter mode looks like the commentary feature or Text editing. I never used as I could not understand the benefits. Maybe a YouTube video would help.
- Fill out electronically an existing hardcopy form. It is unclear whether the product does it.
2) Filtering out sections of very long documents and create new ones only with the selected ones.
3) Apply images to documents even signatures and logos.
4) Office automation, especially manual forms evolving to electronic PDF forms.
5) Consolidation of several document types such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and many other non-MS Office into one single document.
By Far The BEST PDF Program EVER!!!!!
- Document Sharing
- Electronic Signatures
- Fillable Forms
- Document Combining
- Removing existing text from PDF
Kofax, a good PDF Option
- Typewriter functionality is great, although can take some time to load. This allows you to fill in text wherever applicable without turning the rest of the pdf into editable text.
- Fast load times
- Has autogenerated text feature so anything in the pdf can become editable
- Their e-signature functionality is lacking. One user had a photo of their e-signature which was put onto the document through an e-sign option. To rescale the image, there was a tiny box outline and the corner of the box to resize it would not recognize the mouse hovering over it. This caused a long process of trying to get it to resize the image instead of moving the entire photo. The box which registers the resize needs to be larger so this is not an issue, and one does not have to try to find the "sweet spot" for it to recognize.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Ease of Use, employees find it easy like Word to use. Secure, signatures and such are very easy to create and lock down. And stable we have no issues with the install and or updates that were always annoying.
- Clean up the GUI just a little bit to make them more modern and fluid.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- I really like the document assembly feature, makes reordering a document easy. Inserting and extracting pages is also very simple process. Kofax integrates very easily with the Microsoft suite.
- A con would be when inserting pages, I would like it better if you could select a default selection for First or After etc. a check box to keep it consistent when working on repetitive tasks.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Easy to install and keep updated. 2. User friendly interface. 3. The program is relatively intuitive to use so that new members of the staff catch on very quickly to its use.
- We can't think of anything that we would change about this program.
Couldn’t Live Without Kofax Power PDF
- Taking a Word document and putting it into PDF
- Inserting and deleting pages in a PDF document
- Taking a PDF document and converting it into Microsoft documents
- Because it is hard for me to write I am so having a form I need to complete, I simply PDF it, and use the typewriter feature to type in my information
- Sometimes I find the PDF converter doesn’t work
I really struggle to say anything negative about Kofax Power PDF because I maybe don’t use it for a lot - but it is an invaluable tool for what I do use it.
Kofax Power PDF has been a great addtion for our company
- Use friendly setup.
- Having multiple PDF's open at one time.
- Easily incorporating Microsoft Office.
- It is a bit tricky to delete pages from the document.
- The blue theme is nice, but it blends into Word documents.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- The creation of PDF documents from any application which consistently maintain the appearance of the source. Conversion of documents, including scanned documents to OCR / Searchable documents. Conversion speed and accuracy of the output is outstanding. Robust editing and annotation features including commenting, call-outs, text boxes, adding watermarks, headers/footers, Bates numbering/stamping, highlighting, redactions and other document markup and editing.
- Some menus are not intuitive. If you are migrating from Acrobat, there is quite an adjustment. Kofax Power PDF sometimes performs sub-optimally when converting PDF files to MS Office/365 files (Export Function). This is especially true if the PDF has tables or columns or other complex or atypical formatting. There are limitations in the ability to create custom, dynamic stamps.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- It is very good at pdf editing. The type feature is extremely handy.
- The OCR is much better than any competitive products I have tried.
- The interface could be more intuitive. For example, it took me a while to find signatures under "security" and how to change the default. On the other hand I am now familiar with the interface and prefer less change.
- The help is ok, but could be improved.
- The licensing could be more liberal. I have three computers I work from regularly, office, home and laptop, and find the two registrations restrictive. Perhaps a reduced price on a third or additional would help.
Concise
- Make PDF searchable
- editing PDF documents
- adding and removing pages
- editing existing test in PDF documents
- It will be great if the 'typewriter function' can be used concurrently with 'edit the document' function
Kofax Power PDF Review
- Ease of use, manipulation of data and organization of files
- The only thing I don't like about the product is that it doesn't integrate with LEAP Legal Software, which I also use. That is really the only problem.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- editing - signatures - adding pages and more
Kofax Power PDF Review
- In my opinion, works pretty much like the Adobe product which is fine. Also like that you buy it once and don't continue to pay.
- Does not work with Lenovo and other laptops that use the Snapdragon (TM) 850 etc. like the Lenovo C630-13Q50 and other companies that use the Snapdragon. When I purchased your product I didn't see that limitations note. I did check with your customer service and I see you have no plans to make it work.
Kofax Power PDF Review
- It is great for converting PDFs into Word, Excel, etc. There is always some clean-up needed (particularly for footers, footnotes, and page numbers) but it routinely prepares even 100 page documents for quick and easy use in Microsoft products.
- I don't have specific examples - but only because I've used it so long I can't remember things Adobe did differently. I know it does everything we need at much less cost that Adobe.
Kofax Power PDF Review
