We actually have been using it at home replacing our previous Meraki set up. We also use it as recommended set up for SMBs we also support as well since it is a great use case in single site setup with basic VPN etc needs. The fact is has a lot of the same features as Meraki Enterprise, as well as being app and website accessible too helps a lot.
  • Ease of configuration
  • Deployment
  • Management
  • Remote access
  • App performance lag
  • Swag
  • Lower cost on Wifi6, there's a massive jump in price for that hardware
Single site where wifi and wired connections are needed with on site and remote support needed. Possibly also VPN access. Or as we use it, at home for better management of network, guest access for family, for visitors and also content filtering to keep everyone safe too. They keep adding features so there may be more just added or upcoming I might have missed. It's probably not best for larger multi site businesses but small single or dual site with VPN it works awesomely.

It's not my business. Don't use it. It's at home.
  • It's lightweight, it's a wireless access point. You've got corporate features for the home user. Pretty easy to set up and that's pretty much it really.
  • Security type. I'd like to see two FA, things like that when you're logging in a bit more integrations with other tools and things.

Meraki Go is a great internet solution for our staff and our customers. The brewery is always filled with people coming to watch the Sunday Night Football Games, and our great, secure internet connection is unrivaled by the other bars in the Downtown Fresno area. Everybody in our brewery appreciates the quick internet speed we get, to check on different sporting events, and also for our patrons to use their mobile devices safely without having to worry about hackers taking some of their information. The app is also really easy to use; with just a few clicks, we set up two different networks, one for our staff members on a secure network and another for the general public to use. I have my own small business that I want to set up based around clothes, and I can be sure that Meraki Go would be a nice, lightweight option for my internet service.
  • Great internet service.
  • Great support team, they got back to me within an hour of my purchase.
  • Secure network provider, haven't had an issue with stolen passwords since switching from Ubiquiti.
  • One thing I would add is that sometimes the app has downtime or works particularly slowly on the weekends. Why that is, I'm not sure, maybe because I have an older iPhone.
One of the better times Meraki Go has proven useful was when the Fresno Grizzlies have baseball games, and many people come to our brewery to watch it on our televisions or stream it on their phones. The quick internet service allows us to attract more patrons and also improves their day. Half of the time, people are coming into our bar just to use the internet and end up buying a few drinks! The business had shot up thanks to our switch from when the pandemic started in 2020.

  • Manage Wi-Fi devices

  • You can configure many multiple wi-fi networks
  • For big companies, use cases may be limited.
  • When distance is increased, there may be a slight glitch in connectivity
  • Can be a quite expensive for a growing business
Cisco Meraki Go is best suited for small and mid-range companies for managing their wi-fi needs. Since it is a cloud-based solution, it proves to be very affordable for such organizations. We are the system integrators, and we suggest this product for the customers who don’t want extra infrastructure, like wireless LAN controllers, which are extra hardware for the access points. But with Cisco Meraki Go, it will be plug-and-play. Easy to control the devices from any part of the world with the help of a mobile app or a web browser.
  • Easy to manage
  • Access from anywhere
  • Best in performance
  • Heat maps
  • Licensing
  • Support
The customer was looking for a wireless solution that could provide user analytics with detailed information. If classic Cisco then it needs multiple servers and devices to do the implementation. In Cisco Meraki Go, you don’t have to go with multiple devices; just connect the AP to the dashboard, and you will get a detailed report of the users, and they are accessing.

We use the Cisco Meraki Go Indoor WiFi Access Point model in our building with the mission of delivering wireless internet to our users and guests. One of the great advantages of this model is the ability to be managed in the cloud and automatically provision access points installed anywhere. The entire configuration is adjusted by artificial intelligence and rules created by us at IT. We have been implementing this WiFi solution for over two years.
  • Cheap and fast hotspot supporting multiple simultaneous clients.
  • Guest control through a Captive portal.
  • They work with the 802.11ac Wave 2 protocol.
  • They direct the WiFi signal directly to the client that is accessing the internet and increase the quality of the signal.
  • Managed in the cloud and accessed via the web
  • It does not support WiFi 6 so far.
  • Not recommended for auditoriums.
Our Cisco Meraki Go Access Points are great low-price, high-quality Cisco Meraki access points with reliable warranty and support. The product is durable, compact, and beautiful, and can be installed on the ceiling or wall to cover small and medium coverage areas. We highly recommend it for the ease of management in the cloud and with a clean, intuitive, and friendly interface from Cisco. Once configured, it is replicated to all access points that will be installed when connected to the internet.

We decided to use Meraki Go to address WiFi connectivity problems, security: protecting WiFi clients, and easy setup.
  • Protect wifi clients.
  • Firmware updates.
  • Very stable WiFi connection.
  • The size of the device.
It's a good solution if you're looking for a secure, reliable, and easy-to-setup WiFi for your business. The AP is suitable for indoor and outdoor, and you can combine multiple AP to get further coverage of the WiFI signal. If there are too many walls, the WiFi signal will be reduced, but it also happens with other vendors.

We use it for remote management of devices and also to provide a VPN tunnel to our users to the internal network.
  • Really simple and easy to configure and manage - simple interface.
  • Centralised cloud management from the dashboard makes it easy to manage devices.
  • Easy to integrate.
  • The price is a bit too expensive.
  • It was easy to set up access points at 2 different locations but they lost connectivity frequently.
  • The SSO with Azure is only one-way.
Cisco Meraki Go is an easy software to use since it has cloud centralized management from the dashboard. But some of the features are not up to mark for the given price.

The product is best suited for small businesses. Meraki Go is the economical version of other wifi products available from the wifi solutions. They are easy to deploy and very user-friendly to set up too. They provide the state of the art features at a budget scale. This is the best solution for small businesses to manage and control their wifi without having multiple hardware to do so.
  • Great App Interface.
  • Easy to Install.
  • Great Performance.
  • Economical.
  • Bundle offers.
  • More models with different specs.
  • Partner offers.
Best suited for small-scale businesses or startups who rely on high speed and better productivity. The price point is really affordable for the set of features it offers compared to any other product in the market. Great for remote offices or temporary offices since it can be set up easily and be moved from one location to another without any hassle. Not suitable for any large-scale enterprises or where security policies are very strict. The user has limited control over the device compared to other enterprise products.

Cisco Meraki Go Appliances are usually used as WIFI hotspots or Access points in urban environments to ensure compliant access to WIFI or to simply connect to the internet through the company network. It's used generally when clients used Meraki stacked with other products like Meraki MS and Meraki MX. The product should be used with an authentication mechanism.
  • cybersecurity
  • indoor and outdoor WiFi
  • network access
  • Dynamic address management
  • wifi range
  • captive portal
Small business with maximum 5 rooms to cover in WIFI. This product is well suited for clients with no more than 5 areas to cover in WIFI. The number of machines connected on each Meraki Go appliance should not exceed appliance capacity or else performance will be affected. The client should also buy Meraki MX to secure internet access.

It addresses how our bandwidth is used and who has access to our internet. By reviewing the data, I was able to get a better idea of how many people visit the barbershop on a given day, which was a problem I was trying to solve.
  • Data Visualization
  • Internet Bandwidth Usage
  • Internet Management
  • Better Notifications
  • Recommendations
CMG is well suited for a place that has a lot of traffic where waiting is involved. At my barbershop, while people are waiting for services, having WiFi is ideal. The more folks in the office, the more bandwidth usage. Being able to control how people use the internet is ideal and can help save your company from streaming and buffering issues due to lack of bandwidth.

It is being used across the whole organization. It's a cheap, basic SD-WAN solution for us and works very well.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Number of tunnels.
  • Security.
Cisco Meraki Go is very good for retail companies and basic configurations. It's super easy to deploy and its dashboard is very friendly to use. There is no need to be a techie in order to use this technology!

We use Cisco Meraki Go as an MDM solution to support mobile devices and network locations database and maintenance. It is being used for the whole organization, and we use free MDM setup to manage mobile devices, push policies and configurations, monitor location, OS versions, setup and removal of email, full or selective wipe.
  • Easy to enroll devices.
  • Easy to manage all devices on dashboard.
  • Location services are very approximate.
  • Creating configuration profiles is complicated.
Cisco Meraki Go is well suited to monitor network locations and equipment, MDM solution for businesses if not needed to push many configuration profiles. Company mobile devices to push security policies and monitor devices, OS versions, and remove a pin, reset, selective, and full wipe of devices. US made software, appropriate to use for government contractors.
