Attribute Ratings
Reviews
(1-4 of 4)- Very good compartmentalization of document attributes. Each quality document created is automatically assigned a unique number, and allows a user to designate particular Opco sites, document owner, and business unit.
- Toolbar for quick access to useful document functions including Copy Links, Export to Excel, and PDF Print View. This allows for easier tracking of an entire library of quality documents.
- Customizable access permissions and intuitive layouts. The web interface allows you to optionally show phase tracking in Access Control, track assignments by due date, and assign specific user groups different access permissions to sub-applications.
- Troubleshooting any user issues. This does not come up often, but customer service can take several days to resolve a user-related issue.
- Limited data visualization options. Charting functionality within the web interface would enhance the web user experience. Charting and analysis is instead more easily done after exporting data to Excel or other third-party software.
- Limited integration with e-mail and other software tools. Functionality to quickly draft reminder e-mails to document owners would be a useful feature. Also, allowing communication with internally developed software platforms would enhance usability.
For more advanced users, it may be limited in functionality. Data analytics and related visualization is more easily done after exporting data and manipulating in third-party software programs.
- Has saved a lot of time in preparing for audits. In an organization with multiple franchises, the cost savings from reduced man-hours is well in the $500K+ per year range.
- Cloud capability has saved on document storage and hardware costs. The cost of storing online is low and has saved up to $100K per year in hardware and data maintenance costs.
- Reduced need for third-party document control applications. ETQ Reliance has eliminated the need for other software applications to support quality document maintenance.
ETQ and Integrated Management System Solution
- Document control: love the workflow process.
- On hold non-conformance Management: easy to pull up new and old information seamlessly and link it to meetings.
- Meetings: allows us to have great traceability of meeting minutes with attached information—auditors love it!
- Safety reporting: workflow makes it seamless to send from one person to the next while tracking each part of the process.
- Troubleshooting: resolution takes a long time and is not always conducive to our business practices.
- Notification of patches: I would love to have an option for automatic updates like Windows so we always have the latest version.
- We started with ETQ Verse and it was a perfect way to get everyone acclimated to the software. There are both positive and negative adjustments that had to be made with the upgrade to ETQ RELIANCE. The ROI is almost immediate, so overall it has been a great upgrade for our business.
ETQ Reliance Review
- The main advantage of ETQ Reliance is the out of box modules that address most customer quality process needs.
- Customization - Wide scope for customization as per the customer requirements
- Ability to build your own processes and modules
- Good customer support
- Continuous support and enhancements through upgrades and patches
- New EtQ Reliance (Version 2019 and above) have restrictions on customization. Which made it difficult to migrate.
- Better mobile platform
- Better Data visualization
- We are utilizing out of box modules. which provide a platform for electronic document storage.
- We have developed a lot of custom modules and processes with the functionalities provided by ETQ. This eliminated number of tools used by different teams in the organization.
- We were able to reduce paper usage by documenting the processes electronically.
- Saved a lot of manual efforts through Automation using ETQ
ETQ Reliance - a good journey
- Great aggregation of actions across multiple processes in one place.
- Relatively easy to configure to fit company-specific processes but also a good out of the box solution
- Able support all ISO management system needs (quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety)
- SaaS or cloud availability
- Support has been hit or miss at times. Purchasing a higher level of support (a new 'feature') helps to assure more consistent support staff; otherwise, you get passed among staff.
- Ability to do drag and drop configuration is good, but you will need someone who can do object-oriented coding (Python-like) to really optimize if you don't use out of the box
- Better, more up to date technical content. Each application really does the same thing in moving documents via workflow, but it would be good to have better technical content, e.g. ISO 14001 questions for audits.
- Having one database to support many processes reduces the need for other products with installation, implementation, and licensing costs.
- We have looked hard at on-premise vs. SaaS costs. This is worth really taking a hard look at from the start. ETQ Reliance seems to be incentivizing users to move to SaaS and realizes that they need to cost this to make it attractive.
