Users have had a great experience using the Hired platform to find more qualified tech talent, particularly in niche areas and for hard-to-fill positions. They appreciate the simplicity and ease of use when it comes to finding the best talent online. The platform has a high response rate, making it easier for users to connect with and hire diverse product managers and engineering candidates.
One of the key benefits of using Hired is the ability to quickly source strong candidates with varied experiences from various locations, giving users an edge in hiring quickly. By accessing a database of engineering candidates who are actively looking for new opportunities, users can efficiently find and screen candidates, leading to an increase in engagement and response rates compared to other platforms. This not only streamlines the hiring process but also helps users achieve their hiring goals by successfully hiring candidates through the platform.
Furthermore, Hired supports diversity efforts by providing transparency and progress tracking in the hiring process. Users have used the platform's diversity feature to find underrepresented candidates who have gone through the interview process, contributing to their diversity initiatives. Additionally, the platform improves sourcing and hiring efficiency by providing upfront information on candidates' compensation expectations, saving users time and avoiding wasting candidates' time.
Overall, Hired solves the problem of having a diversified source of candidates and provides contact information and detailed resumes for assessment, simplifying the hiring process for users. Whether it's filling hard-to-fill positions or expanding the candidate pool, this product has been effective in helping users find qualified talent efficiently and make quality hires.
High Quantity of Strong Engineering Talent: Users appreciate the abundance of talented engineers available on Hired, enabling them to quickly engage with candidates. This is particularly valuable in a remote working environment as it allows access to talent from untapped geographies.
Consistent Updates to Candidate Pool: Hired consistently refreshes its candidate pool with highly qualified individuals in fields such as product, engineering, data, and design. Users find that this regular update leads to successful hires for their teams, making it a worthwhile investment.
Good Set of Information Provided: The information provided on Hired's platform is sufficient for users to identify the right candidate for their needs. They appreciate being able to view resumes, profiles, contact details, compensation expectations, and preferred tech stacks.
-
Difficult User Interface: Many users have expressed frustration with the rough and difficult-to-navigate user interface of the platform, especially when setting up jobs and managing candidate flow. They find it time-consuming to scroll through a large number of candidates and would prefer to see profile information in one view.
-
Lack of Integration with CRMs: Some users find it inconvenient that the platform does not integrate with their own Customer Relationship Management systems, which they consider an important feature for streamlining their hiring processes.
-
Limited Candidate Availability: A drawback mentioned by several users is the limited availability of candidates in specific regions or for certain job roles, making it challenging to find qualified candidates for their open positions.
Users highly recommend Hired as a valuable tool for tech recruiting, especially for small companies that need to quickly build their engineering team. They praise Hired for streamlining sourcing activities and solving issues in the recruiting process. Additionally, users suggest utilizing the support offered by Hired to better understand the platform and to connect with the account manager/partner for a more seamless experience. They also recommend using Hired as part of a broad search strategy and finding software engineers, saving time compared to LinkedIn and money compared to recruitment agencies.

Helpful Tool for a Growing Organization
This tool is effective in finding candidates to interview for various open opportunities at the organization. Our Recruiters build up a pipeline from sourcing efforts and also comb through the many candidates delivered to our team each week through the Vettery tool.
- Vettery provides quality candidates for open opportunities.
- Vettery provides a hands-on support team that establishes a strong relationship with Recruiters and Hiring Managers.
- Vettery has established auto-responders to ensure candidates are moving through the pipeline effectively.
- Their 'Connie' tool can be a bit invasive. Sometimes Recruiters go at a really fast pace and don't always use the Vettery email to ensure candidates are scheduled but the Connie tool will message you asking you to set up meetings even after they're on the calendar.
- We've made several hires from the Vettery tool who were quality candidates and are still with us.
- We've been able to move quickly, reducing our time to fill with a tool like Vettery.
