Keepnet's founders have provided training for ethical hackers, especially in penetration tests, secure software development, and physical security since 2006.

They state their experience and the services they provided to the banks, airline companies, governments, and intelligence agencies, led them to conclude that technological investments are always behind attacks and that most employees do not have the security-minded habits to protect themselves and their companies.

With this vision, Keepnet Labs took action to provide a holistic solution in the planning, attack, compromise, and data loss stages of email-based cyberattacks. Their solutions integrate with the user's own existing measures. Keepnet states a belief in the importance of orchestration, integration, and development—that no technology alone is a savior.

When cybercriminals set out to attack an organization, they follow a series of phases that constitute an attack lifecycle. Keepnet helps keep organization safe in all 4 phases of email-based attacks; Get Ready with Planning, Defense against Attacks, Prepare for Compromises, Prevent exploits before Data Loss. Each successful cyber-attack could cause a significant data leak, including email, passwords, and addresses in registered information of the attacked company. Keepnet's Threat Intelligence Module has a database of cyberattacks and data exposed to the dark web and other sources. Using the module lets the user explore leaked accounts and passwords from email addresses with company domains.

Keepnet's Email Threat Simulator module simulates actual attacks to test email infrastructure and email gateway products to fix identified vulnerabilities. Its Email Threat Simulator module regularly tests technological investments (such as firewalls, anti-spam, and anti-virus), using simulation logic to mimic the attack vectors targeting organizations through your email services. The results allows users to discover weaknesses in their technology in a safe environment and take the necessary action proactively before you're attacked.

The Keepnet Phishing simulation module allows users to safely and proactively test and quantify human vulnerability by sending benign phishing attacks to a team, tracking their actions, and reporting back.

Quantifying an organisation's vulnerability to phishing attacks and cyber threats, in general, means nothing without a process to improve through education. So Keepnet develops training which can be targeted and on-demand via our Awareness Educator module. The Awareness Educator is tightly integrated with the Keepnet Phishing Simulator module to automatically funnel users caught by phishing simulations into appropriate and engaging e-learning courses, ensuring they become more aware of threats and better-equipped to identify sophisticated phishing emails in the future.

With Keepnet's Incident Responder Module, analyze, investigate and respond to email threats with its email analysis platform. Fully automated by Playbooks or manually triggered by the SOC team, Incident Responder helps to find any suspicious email in an employee's inbox and removes or quarantines it in under a minute. Customizable Playbook features enable users to create rules to classify reported emails by header, body, and attachment, allowing the system to analyze the technical criteria needed to identify malicious activity. Enable employees to immediately report suspicious emails to Incident Responder and the SOC team using Phishing Reporter. Phishing Reporter works with Outlook Desktop on Windows and Apple MacBook, Outlook Mobile, Google Workspace, Office 365 and does not need integration with an email server to analyze and respond to email-based attacks. Phishing Reporter's Diagnostic Tool shows which users have the plugin or how many plugins are disabled and then automatically enables them.

In each aftermath of attacks, communication plays a crucial role in the response. Keepnet also creates a community to raise the cyber awareness of companies together and strengthen the defenses with the wisdom of the community. Threat Sharing module is a place to gather and share information with a community of choice.
