Twist: Team Messaging

Twist is a multiplatform communication app designed to help teams have more organized and contextual conversations, inside one single app.

Because conversations in Twist are asynchronous and thread-based, team members can easily disconnect to work on important tasks (or take time off) without fearing that they'll miss out on something important. Though they're popular, it's impossible for chaotic group chat apps that function in real-time, like Slack and Skype, to provide this level of organization and peace-of-mind.

In Twist, long-form conversations are categorized into easily searchable threads, which are housed inside specific channels based on topic. For example, the thread "Logo colors" would be part of the "Rebranding" channel. Threads ensure that discussions stay on-topic and easy to follow, so that you can reference them– even years later.

In addition to threads, team members can communicate via Direct Message when they need to discuss something quickly or personally. For example, wishing a teammate happy birthday or coordinating a time to meet for coffee.
