Cisco Email Security is being utilized across our whole organization. It's actually a second defense hop into our environment that provides another layer of defense to combat malware, spyware, etc. We also utilize it for outbound content filtering, routing rules, as well as email hygiene. It has proven to be very effective for our enterprise as the granularity was not possible on our email servers and cloud provider gateway.

Cisco a Great Defense
Cisco Secure Email Threat Defense is used as our primary email gateway. Although, we use O365 Exchange too, all of our corporate email goes through Cisco ETD. It is our primary security gateway for all email traffic. Also, it addresses our junk and malicious email problems/threats. We can manage the amount of unwanted email traffic being delivered to our staff.
- Manages Junk Mail Well-We configured and tested our configuration to filter out the majority of junk mail hitting our inboxes.
- Manages Graymail-We configured and tested our Cisco ETD for graymail filtering and reduced the amount of unwanted advertising and other legitimate emails.
- Creating unique policies that were tailored to block or allow emails from certain senders.
- Stopped malicious email traffic (e.g., malicious attachments and links) with rules for identifying and stripping potentially malicious attachments or links.
- Allows easy configuration for other email security measures such as SPF, DMARC and DKIM.
- Cisco engineers provide an annual free security health check. We took advantage of several security health checks where Cisco certified engineers go over the security setting of our Cisco ETD. We were provided a written report that highlighted strengths and weaknesses of our Cisco ETD setup.
- Monitoring email traffic flow is almost overwhelming with the amount of information you can obtain from the portal. This gives valuable information to IT staff in terms of volume and type of emails the company is receiving.
- The creation of policies and order in which they are applied to incoming/outgoing email can sometimes be a little confusing.
- Testing of rules and/or configuration settings are done live. Would be nice to have a way of testing a rule and/or configuration before going live if possible.
- Searching and extracting emails with ease/simplicity for eDiscovery or security purposes would be an extra bonus.
- Having an easier method for setting up and sending secure emails.
We were totally fed up with junk and phishing email and needed something to solve our problem it helped us in detection and elimination of those emails. <br>If you want to get freedom from these phishing emails this is a must have.

Active Protection for Your Email Service
Cisco Secure Email is an excellent solution for detecting and eliminating cyber attacks that are targeted toward our emails. My company has been using it for a few years and it has been paramount in securing our emails and actively preventing targeted threats. It has integration with Microsoft 365 which is an excellent feature for us. Filtering is extremely effective in detecting both spam and other kinds of malicious emails.

Solution and protection at all times
I implement Cisco Secure Email to prevent phishing, business email attacks, ransomware and spam, it also gives me better security for Office 365 email. With this software I prevent attackers via email to create some kind of sales scheme to scam our customers also these attackers can create business goals and false marketing via spam in order to get some kind of information from customers but thanks to Cisco Secure Email we can prevent these problems.
- Smart URL technology is a bestseller because it combats malicious links.
- Cisco Email Security also improves security for Office 365 email.

- It has data loss prevention and content encryption tools to protect confidential information.
- Adding multiple users to the team is very expensive.
- Its interface is a bit boring, in addition, it does not have a wide variety of options.

Cisco Secure Email Protection.
I use Cisco Secure Email at my organization for sending secure emails to outside recipients. I usually use Cisco Secure Email to send emails with attachments that may contain sensitive information, such as HIPAA. Cisco Secure Email is, as implied by its name, a secure email, which is exactly why we use it.

Best Email security appliance
We have been using Cisco Secure Email for the whole organization for almost 10 years, it is the main email gateway for both Students and Staff members. approximately 15000 mailboxes are protected, both incoming and outgoing emails are checked for SPAM, viruses, malware, phishing attempts, and fraud emails. A special blacklist is also being used to stop certain unwanted emails especially password stealing scams.

Good solution for WFH and heavy email users
Utilized across the entire organization. Many of our workers are remote and the only method of contact is via email. Having a solution that protects against email attacks is key to maintain a functional remote work force. As we do see much value in having an email security solution.

Easy-to-use secure email portal
I currently use Cisco Secure Email (formerly Cisco Email Security) to have clients send over/upload documents to me, securely and safely. It is currently being used by my branch and a few others throughout the company but not company-wide and not through our corporate office. We haven't had any issues with the program/secure email yet.
