What is iSpring Learn?
iSpring Learn is an LMS developed by iSpring Solutions, a company that provides more than 59,000 clients with an eLearning software ecosystem.
iSpring Learn automates corporate training and helps to improve employee retention through onboarding, on-the-job training, gamification and engagement mechanics. With iSpring Learn, training and development professionals can launch eLearning fast, even without technical skills. Also, account owners can customize or white-label the learner portal to reflect their corporate branding.
The iSpring Learn LMS features:
Detailed analytics: To increase ROI, adjust training strategy by tracking key metrics, including learner engagement, completion rates, and assessment scores.
Individual learning trajectories: Automatically assign required courses to new hires or other groups of employees, and roll out training content in an order tailored to each group or user.
The supervisor dashboard: Displays team progress, employee results, numbers of groups, users, and their logins for the past month. The User Issues section shows why employees might have lost motivation so the supervisor can quickly remedy the situation.
An on-premise implementation option: Controls security and data privacy without risk of data breaches, and full hosting autonomy.
A Customer Success Manager: A dedicated manager will assist with launch, set up the training environment, and manage users. They then offer guidance through the beta course creation, track its performance with relevant training KPIs, and offer actionable suggestions for improvement.

Reviews
(1-25 of 34)iSpring Learn is a worthy product
- The authoring tool has been invaluable to augment the training material in PowerPoint, what used to be either bland or would require arduous amounts of programming as become a far more simpler straightforward task.
- Collating and tracking of employees by individual or department.
- Delivering content to our many clients.
- Permissions are not clear enough. There have been issues when new features are released. Perfect example is when the review system came online, no one thought to partition departments to prevent other managers from seeing reviews of employees in other departments. Gross oversights such as this rendered time we put into developing this as staple at the company caused a lot of headaches and never should have been released without more consideration.
- Courses and catalog should not be hidden in the Additional Options under settings; it is counterintuitive for it not to be in the actual menu of the learning creation area.
- Context sensitive rollovers would be nice as they would add a level of explanation as to what process may need to be completed for a task to be complete.
iSpring Learn and Integration with Suite
- The iSpring Support Team is incredibly quick and efficient.
- Having the entire Suite, the integration is easy to handle.
- Getting users set up within the program is well done.
- I would like to see the integration between Learn and Cloud be more efficient.
- Users tend to have difficulties resetting their own passwords.
- In the future, I would like to see some capabilities in the in person trainings increase. You can set up the trainings, but having hybrid courses is incredibly difficult.
iSpring for internal training
- Easy to setup a new user and enroll in courses
- Cloud based and easy to access and use
- We have hardly any need to support - meaning works well
- I am not sure I fully understand the entire product suite
- Maybe a more continuous relationship with an account manager
Enabling Ease of Learning
Our comprehensive curriculum addresses a wide array of topics, catering to diverse roles and proficiency levels, to foster excellence across the board.
- Ease of learning
- Interactive courses
- Completion certificates
- in depth reporting
- i feel iSpring Learn has grown and improved in the 4+ years of using so no current concerns
iSpring Learn
- User friendly training platform
- Simple content creation
- Data reporting and storage
- Reporting tools are tedious to use
- More integrations with HR websites and data tools
Packed with Features and Topflight Service
- Gamification is native and easy to implement
- Organizing learning content and courses
- Customer service is top notch
- User administration is a little tricky
- There is no way to make batch changes to courses
- There's no sandbox
For companies with over 500 employees, I would imagine that management of the platform can be particularly challenging.
iSpring: A Great Option!
- customizable player options
- easy upload to hosted sites
- loads of options to customize the actual training
- video control options are sometimes difficult to set up
- too few pre built training options on the course library
- third party options on the course library are difficult to set up
- Content library
- Content distribution
- Ease to use
- Customer support
- Communication capability
- Reporting - it would be great if there were more automated reports
- Admin training. We wish there was canned admin training.
- Standing training for clients
Strong Punch at a Reasonable Price!
- Easy integration
- Short learning curve
- Excellenct support
- Easier setting of sequential rules for courses
- Reports for learning tracks
- Automated certificates for sub-course level work
A tool of Value, which has a great team behind it.
- Flexibility in managing the training materials
- Personalization of the contents
- Connection with other platform like zoom etc.
- Ai Avatar
I do not see any scenarios where it is less appropriate.
Master tool for master needs.
- Easy course management.
- Traceability
- Course creation tools.
- Self checkout for course purchases.
- Easier low level structures for permission and access.
- Better UX at some dashboards.
The best in LMS
- Customer service
- Updates
- Training on the how to use the product
- A better graphics tool
- Audio cutting if there was a way to flag where you want to make cuts
Save yourself the headache and try something else
- Pretty easy to create a course on the platform
- Has chat feature readily available for tech support
- Flexible on programs they offer and billing terms
- They are unable to fix about anything through their tech support.
- They can't go into the backend of their program to see what you experience which makes for a lot of back and forth and them rarely ever being able to address a support issue.
- Not compatible with Safari for published training and have to go through an app with smartphone.
- Login emails unreliable...over 25% of my users constantly reported not getting them or they go to spam; not sure why, but on other platforms I've used this has never been an issue.
Great Value Particularly for LMS Newbies
- Integrate with iSpring Learn dev tools
- Easy to deploy courses
- Intuitive user interface
- Reporting progress across a team or across a series of courses
- Bulk functions (add/delete)
- Dashboard
- Share content across different learning paths.
- Organizes the content logically
- Makes it easy to control the user's learning path from one module to the next.
- The quizzes are easy to write in iSpringSuite
- I like the automated progress reports
- I wish ISpring Learn could interface with my eCommerce website so that users were automatically enrolled when they purchase a course. That would require an API feed.
- I have 516 downloadable documents for the three learning tracks. I wish iSpring Learn had an option for the user to download numerous documents at one time, instead of one at a time. After early users complained, I put a link to a Box account, for each learning track, so the user could download the documents all at one time.
Great Tool for Any Company Size and LMS Use-Cases
- Gamification: Available badges, certificates, and user achievements on training completion. Leadership boards available in the user profile increase competitiveness and motivation among users.
- Analytics: Org level, departments wise, groups wise, and user-wise in-depth reports with lots of filters. The learning curve at the user level is one great functionality.
- MS PowerPoint integration with iSpring Learn is a top feature and since most of our users are pretty comfortable with MS PowerPoint, it allows for easy content creation and quizzes.
- More pre-loaded courses on soft skills and generic skills as part of the library, like email etiquette, POSH, Communication at the workplace, etc.
- 360 performance review mechanism for each employee not just from training KPIs but from overall employee skill development
- AI-based content generation tool to create content on the go
Game changer
- Good reporting on training progress
- Many file types supported
- Easy to configure
- Deeper reporting
- Ability to see when users logged in last
- More free basic ready made courses
This LMS is great value for money
- Clear overview on the platform for learners and administrators
- Great administration portal with lots of features
- 360 review option for personal development
- Easy to use
- More standard connectors (API)
- Connection to LinkedIn Learning, Go1, etc. course libraries
The best thing you can do for your training team.
- Tracking and record keeping
- Authoring is easy and cutting edge
- Collaboration is easy when you use their iSpring Space
- I think it would be nice to drill down into the record keeping more
- I think the gamification would be better presented if it were more "in your face" instead of on another page
- I like that you can build custom content.
- I like that there's options for different types of quizzes and role playing scenarios.
- The customer support is incredible!
- I would like to see some different styles of interactions, I feel somewhat limited in what is available.
- I wish I could edit interactions/role plays/etc. while still moving throughout my PowerPoint. I have to close and reopen the interaction many times, which slows down my process, when I am copying and pasting a lot of materials.
- The reporting function is pretty underwhelming. I wish it would take the custom surveys and quiz results and present them better in Excel. It takes A LOT of manual effort to really understand the results of the reports.
Game Changer for Training Employees!
- Organize information
- Creating quizzes
- Tracking progress
- A way to send a link to the app when people first sign up
- Show the length of videos in the setup so we can see how long each course is
- Less clicks when getting to course/track outlines
- Courses are easy to set up and it doesn't take a lot of time or effort to get them to look professional.
- Easy to report on individual users or courses, as well as look at a broader picture.
- Allows you to create a diverse set of courses, allowing some to be more practical based than others.
- Only real issue is the fact that you cannot filter out knowledge articles by user/department. We were hoping to use the platform to also allow some of our external customers access; however, iSpring Learn only has the ability to filter out courses. Knowledge articles are more practical for our personal needs, as they are quick PDFs or videos that our customers would be able to access, without seeing any of our internal work.
- New starter training
- Bulk Training--allows you to assign one course to everyone with a click of a button, saving you the effort of delivering the course to all members of the team in a more physical setting.
- Reporting on who has done what/going the extra mile
Cons
- Not everything can be restricted to certain users, which is the only downside I find.
Great program, low cost!
- Clean display. Many of our users are new to online learning, so it was imperative that the display and interface were easy for users.
- Cost effective. Compared to many of the other online learning systems this program is affordable.
- Easy to create a course. On the administrative side, it is easy to create content and put together the course.
- Reports lack flexibility. We can typically get what we want, but I have to do some workarounds to access the information I want.
iSpring Learn provides an usefulLMS
- Unlimited content - Having the ability to upload as much content as it takes to provide our various classes is very important to us.
- The ability to set up "organizations" where an administrator can provide training for their students. We have several high schools and colleges set up in this manner.
- No downtime that I've noticed. The system just works.
- Customer support. I have an issue that they cannot seem to replicate and correct. Also, support time seems to have degraded since I started using iSpring Learn.
Good LMS software
We used the gamification aspects somewhat and the course creator & modules the most. I also liked the easy integration iSpring has with Powerpoint, that was certainly a very good feature to have. Since we are a small firm the investment in the product was somewhat expensive but it offered great value for the price.
- Integration with powerpoint
- Course creator
- Reports are lacking
